Several Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) employees are drawing huge salaries from the national exchequer but are performing their duties at the residences of their officers causing an awful situation in the TMA where there is real dearth of employees eventually jeopardizing the work. Union Council No 1 Councilor Mohammad Iqbal Saleem Cheema, Tehsil Councilor Israr Ahmed, Munawar Hassan and Professor Jalaluddin said that these employees are burden over the national kitty and provincial government should take steps to control the situation. They said strict check should be maintained over TMA employees and they should be bounded to work in the stipulated working hours at their respective duties.
