Attock: Polling on three constituencies of Attock NA-57, 58 and 59 were held in a smooth and peaceful manner.
No untoward act of violence, brawl or disruption was observed in these constituencies throughout the day.
Attock district consists of three national assembly seats and five provincial assembly seats including PP-15, PP-16, PP-17, and PP 18.
Police and Rangers were seen patrolling the polling stations and people were queuing to cast their votes.
Total number of registered voters on the three constituencies were, 275468, 31556 and 828054 respectively.
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi of PML-Q, Sardar Shahnawaz of PPP and Malik Sohail of PML N were in the run for NA-58.
The total voters’ turnout remained between 35-40 percent.
