Hazro: About 150,000 animals have been vaccinated against seasonal diseases in the district.
Deputy director livestock planning Rawalpindi Dr Anwar Hussain while
talking to mediapersons said the vaccination campaign
was still underway which had been launched to avoid financial loss to
the farmers due to animals’ death in the winter.
He said during the campaign, about 60,000 animals including cows,
buffalos and 86,000 goats and sheep had been vaccinated. The
vaccination will protect the animals from viral diseases for six
months, he added.
