The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Defence Production has
expressed satisfaction over the performance of the Pakistan
Aeronautical Complex (PAC), Kamra.
The 17-member committee on Thursday
visited the PAC, where Air Marshal Khalid Chaudhry briefed the
parliamentarians on the production and overhauling facilities at the
complex. “It was a technical briefing wherein the committee members
were informed about the production and overhauling facilities and the
available technology at the PAC,” the MNA said. “We have been informed
that funds are required for acquisition of modern technology for the
PAC to improve its performance and capabilities,” he added.

Aftab said that the committee would submit its recommendations to the
government, asking for provision of the required funds to acquire the
modern technology for improvement of production and overhauling
facilities at the PAC. The committee members would visit the Pakistan
Ordnance Factories (POFs), Wah, today (Friday) and would be briefed
about its performance.
