Taseer urges PPP workers to work for country’s progress
ATTOCK: Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer on Tuesday urged the PPP workers to
utilise their energies for the progress and prosperity of the country.
He
expressed these views in a meeting with PPP Attock General Secretary Dr
Naeem Awan and PPP Tehsil Hazro President Nasir Khan Jadoon during his
visit to Hassan Abdal. Taseer said that the party workers should work
for the uplift of the country, so that the problems facing the common
man could be resolved in an effective manner.
He said that with
the support of the people of Punjab, the PPP would be
made one major
party. He said that all the problems of the country would be resolved
under the dynamic leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari.
