ATTOCK: A dialysis unit was inaugurated here at the district headquarters (DHQ) hospital, to provide better medical facilities to the kidney patients in the area. The amount of Rs. 3 million for the establishment of the unit was provided by the Punjab government. EDO Health Attock, Dr. Syed Muhammad Hussain Naqvi and

superintendent DHQ Hospital Dr. Khalid Mehmood Khan while briefing the
mediamen here on Monday, said that one renal failure patient requires
about Rs. 4000/- for one time dialysis and the newly established unit
has the capacity to carry out dialysis of three patients in a day.
