| Three bomb blasts hit CDs market in Attock |

ATTOCK: Three bombs exploded here in a CDs market on Sunday in the heart of
the city.
As per details, three bombs exploded with the interval of 3 to 4 minutes when the market was closed near Madni Chowk at about 6.25 a.m. in Safdar Plaza resulting in destruction of 24 shops on the ground floor. Most of the shops were of CDs and video games.
As a result
of the blasts, fours persons Bilal Badshah, Shumail, Murad and
EDO (Health) Muhammad Hussain Naqvi when contacted said that two of them were seriously injured who have been shifted to Rawalpindi.
DCO Attock, Saqib Zafar & DPO Attock Muhammad Wisal Fakhar Sultan reached the site of explosion. Fire Brigade reached the spot and extinguished the fire.
A video shop owner who had a shop in Safdar Plaza said that a month ago a letter (written in Urdu) was received through which all the video shop owners were threatened to close their business of video films or be ready for the dire consequences.
Chairman Chief Minister Task Force Col. ® Shuja Khanzada along with DCO Attock Capt ® Saqib Zafar visited Distt. Headquarters Hospital Attock to inquire about the injured.
Col ® Shuja condemned the blasts and said that killing innocent people and destroying their property were not the teachings of Islam.
Central President Tehreek-e-Istiqlal Rehmat Khan Wardag also condemned the explosions and said that anti Pakistan forces were involved in all the terrorist activities.
