3 bomb blasts in CDs market in Attock, 4 injured PDF Print E-mail

ATTOCK: Four people were injured after 3 bomb blasts occurred in a CD Plaza here in Attock on Sunday morning while scores of shops were also damaged.

First blast happened after Fajar prayer at famous Safdar Plaza and

destroyed shutters of 16 shops and many windows were broken in the blast.

When 4 of passers-by rushed to the site of the incident, suddenly 2 more bombs were blasted. In later blasts, 12 years old Bilal Badshah, Murad (17), Shumail Ahmed (26) and Mohammed Ishfaq (40) were seriously injured who were transferred to DHQ Attock. DCO, DPO, SHO, Fire Barged crew, Edhi Ambulances and other rescue teams reached at the spot after the blasts.

Meanwhile, Tehrik-e-Taliban has accepted the responsibility of these blasts.

Earlier Taliban had warned the owners of CD shops to stop that irreligious business which was harmful for youth and society. Taliban wrote a letter to such shopkeepers to close their shops or to face horrible results.
