Independence Day to be celebrated in befitting manner
ATTOCK: Independence Day of Pakistan will be celebrated in
Attock district in a befitting manner and with full enthusiasm.
The day,
Aug 14 Thursday, will dawn with special prayers in the mosques after
Fajr
prayers. A flag-hoisting ceremony will be held at district nazim secretariat.
A contest
of national songs will be held among youngsters and the distinction winners will
get prizes.
All
government buildings have been illuminated across the city while some private
buildings will also be adorned with colourful lights on the Independence Day.
