| Police recover kidnapped girl |

This was stated by Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Zafar Iqbal while addressing a press conference. The SSP said Nisha Batool, student of Nursery class at Saint Peterson School, Rawalpindi, was kidnapped when she was playing outside her house in Sector I-10/1 and her kidnappers demanded Rs 3 million ransom.
Iqbal said he assigned SP Investigation Ashafaq Ahmed Khan safe recovery of the girl. The SP constituted teams comprising Inspector Khurshid Ahmed Khan, SI Arshad Ali, ASI Tariq Rauf, Inspector Muhammad Akram Jappa from Islamabad CIA Staff and ASI Hafiz Ahmed.
The teams under the supervision of the SP succeeded to trace the hideout of kidnappers and arrest them, the SSP added. Giving details, the SSP said the kidnappers used 15 mobile Sims to contact the father of the kidnapped girl, Muhammad Aslam, and threatened him that they will kill the girl if he informed the police and did not arrange the ransom money.
The police teams succeeded to arrest three kidnappers when they reached at the agreed place to deliver the ransom money. On a tip-off provided by these kidnappers, the police arrested their four other accomplices.
