Govt. committed to resolve people’s problems: Sardar Salim Khan
FATEH JANG: Member National Assembly Sardar Salim Haider Khan has expressed the government resolve to continue untiring efforts in protecting people’s rights.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday at Sanjwal Cantt he said that funds have been approved to provide natural gas facility to the neglected localities of the area and the work on the project would be started soon.
He said that he was conducting open Kachehries at his residences at Dharnal and Hassan Abadal on every Saturday and Monday so as to keep himself abreast of their problems adding that funds worth Rs. 50 million have been approved for different development schemes in the area to bring them at par with the other developed areas of the country.
Sardar Salim while giving details of the schemes said that 23 schemes have been approved while 57 more would be approved shortly which is the proof of government’s commitment to resolve masses’ problems on priority basis.
He said that people voted in favour of PPP during the recent general elections and it would not leave any stone unturned to solve their problems at the earliest for which they had been mandated.
