FATEHJANG: The ratio of road accidents has gone up alarmingly by 30 per cent at Tarnol-Fathejang Road.

There was no system to check over speeding which eventually leads to accidents on the section of the road between Tarnol and Fatehjang. The road has been recently widened, however, most of the vehicles cross the speed limit, which is 100 kilometres per hour.

Another reason for the rising ratio of accidents is the absence of divider on the road, which has recently been dualised. The absence of divider encourages the drivers particularly those driving heavy loaded trucks to overtake dangerously.

These huge and overloaded vehicles move very fast and they also do not care about the light vehicles especially cars and wagons.
