Social Transformation and Religious |

Islam is not a religion like
other religions. It integrates belief with social transformation. Imam
Bukhari sums up all the Hadith about Iman by saying: "Iman is Amal."

In one of the earliest verses revealed
in the Qur'an, Allah Almighty equates Islam to an uphill struggle which
must lead to the freeing of the slave and the distribution of food. [1]

Freeing the captives is one of the
requirements of Islam which was made part of the Islamic state's
obligations when the community in Madina was established. [2]

Later, under kingly rule false and/or
weak scholars claimed that slavery is allowed but the slave should be
treated well. Thus the original message of the Qur'an was lost in
interpretations.

The integration of faith and social
revolution is so intense in the Qur'an that in the middle of powerful
verses about the end of the world, Allah Almighty raises the issue of
female infanticide which is connected to Islam's battle against the
subjugation of women. [3]

Most Muslims think that negation of
religion has to do with the rejection of certain beliefs. However, the
Qur'an says that rejection of religion comes from one who denies the
ORPHAN his/her rights. [4]

Orphans, like slaves, the poor, and
helpless females are central to the Islamic message. If we ignore them,
our prayers are aimless.

Shoora which involves the entire
Muslim community in decision making processes is central to Islam. The
Qur'an ensures that we would not miss the centrality of
Shoora by placing it in the MIDDLE of the same verse about zakat and
salat. The condition of Muslims today is so bad that they keep on
talking of zakat and salat but completely ignore Shoora which is in the
middle of the same verse. [5]

Why is it that Muslim leaders and imams in California have not expressed the teachings of Islam about ISRAEL. This is a terrorist entity which has been placed in the heartland of Islam by force of arms. [6]

Don't be scared of opposing Israel.
Perhaps no one in California has dared to organize Muslims against the
enemies who are pillaging and rampaging through all that is holy to us.

Even if you are scared or leaderless,
there are peaceful ways of opposing Israel. The easiest way is to
boycott businesses which support Israel. Our Jamaat has documented some
of the leading American businesses which support Israel. Among them are
Coca Cola, Starbucks and McDonalds. You'll be helping Palestine and
also improve your own health. These products have no nutrition value.
Remember the Qur'an emphasizes not only HALAL but also Tayyeb [which is good for you.].

Remember, life is short. It could end in one second. Do good while you have life. The Hereafter is better and lasting.

Notice what happened to the sleepy
country of Burma. It was overturned in one night, with the death toll
shooting through 40,000 to now over 100,000. Look at China which is
preparing for Olympics and suddenly its central provinces were turned
upside down with tens of thousands dead in one blow. China is becoming
more and more imperialistic.

USA too is getting signs that Allah
Almighty is re-arranging the world, although it it is still relatively
minor. Notice the split level homes with color TVs and late model cars.
In one second, thousands of them in the Mid West ceased to exist.

Send salutations on Muhammad, pbuh, the sahaba, r.a., the wives of the Prophet, r.a. and to the ummah of Muhammad, pbuh.
