Some top leaders of lawyers' movement stated in media that some elements among lawyers had turned against the movement. This allegation is unfounded. In fact large number of lawyers turned against leadership and not against the movement. During movement it was disclosed that leaders from the very start were ambitious and greedy. Some of them got lucrative appointments and became judges. Some participated in elections in violations of resolutions passed by bar councils. And finally, on night 13/14 June remaining leaders surrendered before establishment at Islamabad Paltan Maidan as preplanned to please their respective political bosses. The leaders having loyalties with their respective political parties will further betray lawyers' community and civil society. They are biased and not sincere to movement cause. They are there to promote political agenda of their parties. Lawyers should be well aware of these truths. Unless top leadership is not sincere movement will not succeed. It may also be mentioned that no political leader is in favor of independent judiciary. So lawyers who are politicians as well fall in the same category

Lawyers now are realising that they have been cheeted by their leaders who raised emotional slogans to use lawyers as tools to give time to their political bosses to keep the whole nation in dark and for promoting their political ends. When that done the top leeader without consulting any member/lawyer called of the movement. I was there at the spot. Some old veterans requested and asked young lawyers to stay there at Islamabad and observe sit in but on the call of their leader to call of the show they got disappointed and left the scene. It was shocking. The leaders of the movement even disregarded organisations from civil society specially ex-servicemen society that contributed maximum to make the movement a success. They society leadership was not even consulted. It is high time that lawyers should hold an inquiry and leaders found responsible for making surrender be punished. 
14-07-2008 09:43, , Registered since establishment of cocktail rule, lawyers were appearing to be working very truely and honestly for re-instatment of judiciary, a group of nationals didnt have comfortable feeling and satisfaction upon their efforts, but because their movement and protests were emotionally looked strong so no one was daring to talk about their integrity. Now with the passage of time, things started becoming more clear and doubts started becoming visible. A common man also has started understaning and talking on integrity of most of the activist in this matter. that Tthis all looks like a stage drama just to divert the attention of the nation from the REAL CAUSE and to provide maximum possible safe time for their friends and colleagues and part partners to proceed with their policies and activities. what did lawyers did and what did they achieved in these three and half month for restoration of judges, except providing a their co-party ppls a safe tiime, free from public protests against price hike, electric load shading, judges rehablitation and other issues. Learned ppls have sophisticated method to psyclogically control the nation and keep them calm and the Nation Miskeen has fallen in their trap and waiting to see what the lawyers will do. If Ruling cocktail is serious to solve the problems then this all could be done in a day or night. But who is serious and who really honestly want to solve the problems. Alas a maseeha come and wake up nation, and move them to ask what is their right. where is the promise ROOTY, KUPDA AUR MAKAN, Petrol on internationally hike but why the CNG and House gas prices increased Why nation is being cheated in Electricity Bills Why Govt, cant control prices of locally produced food stuff Where does the ONION and Tomato go why salt became expensive Rice price why from Rs.30/- per KG to 130 per KG Why custom, duties, charges and surcharges on Food stuf items why school and university fee increased why and why and why its a non finishing story. NPeoples must wake up to compel the rulers to bow to our rights and our basic needs and requirements.Lawyers movement became doubtful now and we have to demand our rights in a strong way. jahan-e zulm-o jo main sub se budh ker kon zalim hay jo istebdad ke aagay jhukay ser wohe zalim hay nagoon ser hi jahan main hosla daite hain zalim ko jo buz dil zulm sehtay hain haqeeqat main woh zalim hain |
