Despite tall claims by the police authorities to control crimes, Attock Police has failed to arrest cycle thieves who are stealing cycles on regular basis from various areas of Attock City. According to details, people living in various areas of Attock have lodged complains with the authorities concerned to arrest the cycle thieves who have virtually gone bananas in Attock City. They were of the view that it is not a single person but a gang which is stealing cycles outsides public places, markets and mosques when people go for prayers. Public circles have urged police high ups to take notice of the cycle thefts which is becoming a routine practise while poor segments of the society cannot afford a new bicycle.
