ATTOCK: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz condemning the terrorist act in Charsadda public meeting has said that the terrorist elements can not terrify the nation and neither can they hamper the development process in the country. Talking to newsmen during his brief visit here Sunday, the Prime Minister vowed to take strict action against theterrorist elements. The Prime Minister said terrorist attacks do not benefit anyone but claim the lives of innocent people. He said such incidents will strengthen our resolve to maintain peace and tranquility in the country.
He said the federal government is investigating into the incident and the NWFP government, which is responsible to maintain the law and order situation, are also
investigating the matter.  Mr. Shaukat Aziz said the federal government is in contact with the provincial government and the investigation agencies and the responsible for the terror act will be brought to justice. He said Pakistan has always raised voice against the terrorism because it does not resolve any matter. He said our religion Islam is also against such acts of terrorism. The Prime Minister appealed to the nation to forge unity among their ranks and cooperate with the government to unveil these elements to continue the march towards progress and prosperity and maintaining peace in the country.
