ATTOCK: The flourmill owners of Rawalpindi and Islamabad got support of Attock in their bid to resolve 20-kg ‘atta’ bag price issue in the twin cities.
Attock flourmills owners joined hands with Rawalpindi Islamabad Flourmills Association and voiced their concern over the attitude of provincial government not to raise the price of 20-kg flour bag after wheat prices soared to Rs750 per 40 kilogram in Punjab.
The provincial government is adamant not to raise the ex-mill price of Rs365 while flourmill owners have their own reservations after the prices of wheat escalated from Rs625 (per 40kg) to Rs750 over the last two weeks.
