Rs. 220 mln allocated for Attock-Rawalpindi Link Road
ATTOCK: Punjab government has earmarked an amount of Rs. 220 million for construction of link road between Attock and Rawalpindi and construction work on Sanjwal G.T Road Mela Chowk Road.
Muhammad Farakh, SDO Provincial Highway Department said that with the construction of this link road, 12 Km distance would be reduced between these two cities.
Muhammad Farakh said the work on phase-1 of the project has been started with funds worth Rs. 8.35 million. “This project would be completed in a period of 18 months,” he added.
He said that District Nazim, Maj.® Tahir Sadiq has allocated Rs. 6.3 million for the repair of Attock-Jassian and Attock-Sarwala Roads.
