FATEHJANG: The judge of an anti-terrorist court (ATC) heard a case against two men allegedly involved in a suicide attack on former prime minister Shaukat Aziz in Adiala Jail here on Tuesday.

The court adjourned the case till June 11.

The Fatehjang Police had registered a case against Maulvi Muhammad Imtiaz and Muhammad Usman in connection with a suicide attack on Shaukat Aziz in 2004.

According to details of the case, Shaukat Aziz was going to attend a public meeting in

Attock during his election campaign. When he reached Fatehjang Road, a suicide attack took place in which many people were killed.

Meanwhile, a retired captain, who had allegedly killed two serving majors of Pakistan Army, was produced before the ATC and the court adjourned the case till June 16.

The Civil Lines Police had registered a case under sections 302, 324 and 7 ATA against Ismael Pervez Minhas for allegedly killing Major Kashif Mehmood and Major Faisal Mehmood in Gulistan Colony in 2007.
