Dear Editor,

Attached please find a short write up under the subject title. I hope your readers will enjoy its contents.
Rais Khan,
Fremont, California.

Musharraf The Liberal or Musharraf The Libertine

In his book titled “ In the Line of Fire”, Gen.(R) Pervez Musharraf has slandered reputable political leaders of Pakistan with pernicious remarks. He called Mr. Bhutto as fascist, hypocrite and the worst thing ever happened to Pakistan. Mr. Musharraf termed Ms. Benazir Bhutto as liar. He labeled Mr. Nawaz Sharif as liar, lacking in character or characterless and as one not grown up politically or intellectually.

Being victim of his uncanny nature, Mr. Musharraf did not stop there but exposed himself as prisoner of fanciful wishes by referring to his youthful days when girls from Kinnard College Lahore were at FC College Lahore for a debate. Mr. Musharraf writes in his book as “  With girls from Kinnard there, my testosterone level had probably shot up” Now everyone knows the meaning of the shooting up of testosterone level in male and one does not want to explain further. We all know that Mr. Musharraf is a liberal man by thinking, nature and deeds. But the important question confronting us is whether all we read in his book is from “ Musharraf the liberal or Musharraf the libertine.
