ATTOCK: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Nasir Khan Durrani placed two station house officers (SHOs) under suspension on different charges.
SHO Saddar Police Station, Hassanabdal, Ikhlas Khan was placed under suspension for delayed registration of a robbery case and disinterest in investigation.
SHO Hazro Police Station Muhammad Afzal was suspended on the charge of taking no action against the gamblers in the area. Show cause notices have also been issued to a number of negligent officers.
Sajjad Khan, son of Khan Bahadur, submitted a complaint to the RPO complaining that the SHO registered a fake case against his parents and other family members, including women, in revenge for filing a complaint against him with the Anti-Corruption Department.
