General Tariq Majid visits Pakistan Aeronautical Complex
KAMRA: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Tariq Majid on Wednesday visited Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Kamra and inspected various facilities.
During the visit the was briefed about ongoing projects at PAC Kamra. After the briefing, CJCSC visited facilities available at Kamra including the F-7 and Mirage Aircraft overhauling, upgradation facilities, manufacturing assembling plant of Mushak/Super Mushak Aircraft and the facilities for production of JF-17 Thunder Aircraft, being undertaken by Pakistan in collaboration with China.
General Tariq Majid was highly impressed by the progress made by PAC Kamra, particularly in coproduction of JF-17 Thunder with China and remarked that PAC is an impressive outfit, making a huge contribution to national defence efforts.
He hoped that the organisation will continue to work for optimizing our potential and defence capability.
Earlier on arrival at PAF Base Minhas, CJCSC was received by Air Marshal Khalid Choudhery, Chairman PAC and Air Commodore Sohail Aman, Base Commander PAF Base Minhas.
