Fatehjang: Director General Pakistan Post Office Arshad Khan has directed GPOs across the country to remain open on Sundays and on official holidays to facilitate the public.
According to a notification issued by DG Pakistan GPOs, all GPOs would remain open from 8 am to 4 pm on Sundays and official holidays.
The DG said this step has been taken by the authorities for convenience of the people.
Now people would be able to purchase tickets, deposit parcels, buy postal orders and send their letters on these days.
The citizens have termed the decision a positive step.
Ali Sher, Post Master GPO, district Attock told APP that Director General’s orders have been implemented.
