EC appoints DRO, RO, ARO for upcoming general elections
ATTOCK: Election Commission has appointed District Returning Officers (DRO), Returning Officers (RO) and Assistant Returning Officers (ARO) for the upcoming general elections in district Attock for three national and five provincial assembly constituencies.
According to the notification, District and Session, Judge Attock, M. Tariq Abbassi has been appointed as District Returning Officer while Additional Session Judges, Abdul Haq for Na-57, Muhammad Rafiqe for NA-58 and Habibullah Amir were appointed as Returning Officers.
Civil Judges, Amir Mukhtar Gondal, Usman Serwer and Jahangir Ali Gondal have been appointed as Assistant Returning Officers for these constituencies respectively.
Likewise for constituencies of provincial assembly, Additional Session Judge, Abdul Haq has been appointed Returning Officer for PP-15 and PP-16 while Amir Mukhtar Gondal and Shafqat Shahbaz Raja have been appointed Assistant Returning Officers for these constituencies respectively. While Additional Session Judge, Habibullah Amir and Civil Judge Jahangir Ali Gondal have been appointed Returning Officer and Assistant Returning Officer for PP-17 respectively.
Additional Session Judge, Muhammad Rafique has been appointed as Returning Officer and Civil Judges, Usman Sarwar and Abid Hussain Malik have been appointed Assistant Returning Officers for PP-18 and PP-19.
Out of total 860490 registered voters of district Attock, 464747 male and 395743 female voters will exercise their right of vote on January 8 next year.
