Wrong Use of Vote Dangerous than Atom Bomb
Main stream political parties have started election campaign for the coming elections. Visit of Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and President PML (Q) Ch Shujahat Hussain to Karachi is the start. Government party has advantage since their campaign will be on cost of public. Today they met Pir Pagara and visited 90 HQs to forge an alliance with parties having considerable following in Sindh Province and Karachi Metropolitan. And with this their supporters who are mostly hoarders and businessmen raised the prices of Banaspati Ghee and oil. Rate of other commodities have already gone beyond the reach of poor class of people. Last year wheat production was enormous and surplus to nation's requirement. But due to poor administration and with connivance of the high ups/ economic policy makers, wheat was exported and smuggled out by the supporters of the government. A great quantity was hoarded to make four to five time profits. The government and its supporters were successful to achieve this malafide goal but on the other hand people of Pakistan are groaning under the heavy weight of price hike. Do people think that if the present rulers are returned to power, they will facilitate lives of poor? Voters have to consider this point before they make their choice at the time of casting vote. If they fail to do that future of nation will be jeopardized. People should remember that wrong use of vote is more dangerous than atom bomb.
