Pakistan squeezing - Siachen sold by Adolf Mush PDF Print E-mail

Fall of Dacca, handing over of Mir Jawa to Iran, Ran of Kuchh to India, sale of Maqbooza Kashmir, after fall of Kabul putting Fata and Baluchistan area under control of NATO, establishment of six Indian consulates in Afghanistan, handing over of Chinese Muslims under persecution to China, and many actions which are directly related to existence and security of Pakistan have been ignored and Military dictators compromised the territories of Pakistan for the sake of political power in Pakistan.

There are dozens of strategic and defense institutes mushroomed at Islamabad on the Government expenses, which are actively helping Adolf Mush to strengthen his rule. Not a single so called scholar ever raised any question regarding defense of Pakistani territories, those are more interested in demolishing of mosques and cheering for killings of Pakistani nationals by Pakistan Army.

After capturing Quaid Post at Siachen, it is another slap on the faces of coward Generals that India has opened the area for rest of world as tourist attraction to reconfirm their aggression. Whereas Pakistani Generals are busy in Abu Dhabi deals, confrontation with judiciary, and deportation of politicians, abduction and imprisonment of citizens. Oath with Pakistan has broken down and instead of defense of Pakistan, working on neo-cons directions to safe streets of Washington, New York and Los Angels. On what terms Khurshid Mahmood Qasoori is talking with India, if it is called peace talks that means under the table entire Government is involved in selling Pakistan.

Pakistani’s are helpless because government funded mafia is working behind the scenes to finish Pakistan for ever, some faces are on fore front, some are hidden but it is not a question that all of those are earning US $’s. Sale of Kashmir was not a myth, government has been denying such questions, but recent action of India has proved that Aolf Mush & Co believes on Natzi doctrine to remove unwanted citizens by force; it has nothing to do with defense of Pakistan. Its worst example is utilization of elite commandos in internal conflicts against civilians, we heard this news with great sorrow that at least 50 of them have been killed by own citizens. That is why we have been pleading that Pakistan Army should not listen neo-cons funded so called scholars who have been pushing Pak Army to attack on civilians. It proves that present Military education and training system requires improvement, Generals are wasting energies in Basant, Ashoka theaters, forty siparas of Quran, demolishing of mosques and establishment of sufi ism by ignoring their fundamental duties. Neither Negroponte nor Boucher will condemn action of India, Pakistan is loosing inch by inch, and India is moving forward to cut means of access between China and Pakistan.

Some important information and news items are mentioned below:

Siachen Glacier is inside Pakistani Territory.

India wants to watch and Control on Pakistan's Strategic route to China, the Karakorum Highway.

1982 India sent a Training Expedition to Antarctica to train under "Siachen Glacier Like" conditions.

April 1984, India conducted an Operation known as 'Operation Meghdoot', and Invaded Pakistani Territory.
Siachen Glacier is not physically connected to
India, there is no natural ground routes connecting India with Siachen Glacier, India used its Air Force to drop all of its forces at Siachen Glacier, uses Helicopters & Aircrafts to transport Supplies, Food & Soldiers.

It is the longest glacier in the Karakoram and second longest in the world's non-polar areas. It ranges from an altitude of 18,875 ft above sea level at its source at Indira Col (pass) on the China border to its snout at 11,875 ft.

The major passes on this ridge are, from north to south, Sia La at 18,336 ft, Bilafond La at 17,880 ft, and Gyong La at 18,665 ft. The average winter snowfall is 35 ft. and temp to minus 50 C.

US cartographically "awarded" the entire 5,000 square kilometers (1,930 square miles) of the Siachen-Saltoro area to Pakistan.

In the 1970s and early 1980s several mountaineering expeditions applied to Pakistan to climb high peaks in the Siachen area, and Pakistan granted them.

Teram Kangri I (7465 m.) and Teram Kangri II (7406 m.) were climbed in 1975 by a Japanese expedition led by H. Katayama, which approached through Pakistan via the Bilafond La.

Colonel N. Kumar of the Indian Army , then commanding the Army's High-Altitude Warfare School, mounted an Army expedition to the Siachen area. In 1978 this expedition climbed Teram Kangri II, claiming it as a first ascent in a typical 'oropolitical' riposte.

The first public mention of a possible conflict situation in the Siachen was an abbreviated article titled "High Politics in the Karakoram" by Joydeep Sircar in The Telegraph newspaper of Calcutta in 1982.

On 13th April 1984 the Kumaon Regiment of the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force went into the glacier region.

Within a few days, the Indians were in control over most of the area, as Pakistan was beaten to most of the Saltoro Ridge high ground by about a week, The two northern passes - Sia La and Bilafond La - were quickly secured by India.

Adolf Mush stated that Pakistan lost almost 2,331 km² (900 mi²) of territory.

TIME stated that the Indian advance captured nearly 1,000 sq. mi. of territory claimed by Pakistan

To reclaim positions launched by Pakistan in 1990, 1995, 1996 and even in early 1999, just prior to the Lahore Summit.

The 1995 attack by Pakistan SSG was significant as it resulted in 40 casualties for Pakistan troops without any changes in the positions.

The Indian army controls all of the 70-km long Siachen Glacier as well as all of its tributary glaciers as well as the three main passes of the Saltoro Ridge immediately west of the glacier, Sia La, Bilafond La, and Gyong La, thus holding onto the tactical advantage of high ground.

The two sides have lost an estimated 2,000 personnel primarily due to frostbite, avalanches and other complications. Both nations have 150 manned outposts along the glacier, with some 3,000 troops each.

India has built the world's highest helipad on this glacier at a place called Sonam, which is at 21,000 feet (6,400 m) above the sea level.

First batch of trekkers head for Siachen

NDTV Correspondent, Wednesday, September 19, 2007

The first batch of 42 trekkers to the Siachen glacier set off from Delhi on Wednesday by a special Air Force aircraft.

The Ministry of Defence had earlier cleared the 22-day trek even while
Pakistan raised objections to Indian tours to Siachen. ''I am feeling great. It is the highest battlefield and we are the first batch. We are going with the armed forces and I am excited and happy about the trip,'' said Charuhas Joshi, mountaineer.
The trekkers will spend some time in Leh for acclimatization and then move to the Siachen base camp before finally beginning a 12-km trek to the 16,000-ft Kumar camp.

The Indian army has said it will go ahead with plans to allow a group of trekkers to visit the disputed Siachen glacier on Wednesday. An army spokesman rejected arguments from Pakistan that the trek should not go ahead, insisting that it was "a routine adventure" trip.

Indian plan for glacier elicits icy Pakistani response

Decision to allow tourists to visit remote Siachen could aggravate a conflict that already has cost 5,000 lives, Wednesday's Globe and Mail

September 19, 2007 : ISLAMABAD — India is allowing tourists to visit a remote glacier high in the Himalayas starting today, provoking a storm of protest from long-time rival Pakistan, which also claims the area known as the world's highest battleground. The dispute could set back the already slow peace process between the two countries, as India shows to tourists and the world that it holds almost all of the disputed Siachen Glacier and the dominating heights around. India and Pakistan have been to war three times and Siachen, occupied since 1984 by India, lies along the line dividing the territory held by each country in Kashmir, the mountainous state that is claimed by both countries.

M.K Narayanan, National Security Adviser to the Manmohan Singh administration indicated that India and Pakistan were about to reach agreement on the mutual reduction of troops and troop withdrawal in Siachen.

Nehru had erred in "conceding" ground control over Baltistan and Gilgit to Pakistan in 1948. That terrain had enormous geopolitical significance given its proximity to Central Asia. Mrs. Gandhi recaptured Kargil - one of three districts of Baltistan - in 1971. India occupied Siachen in April, 1984. Pakistani troops under a certain Brigadier Musharraf unsuccessfully endeavored to undo this in 1987 and in 1999.

'Siachen Accord'

Friday November 24, 2006

What makes foreign minister Kasuri so optimistic about a Siachen accord in the offing is anybody’s guess. The day Pakistani delegation left for New Delhi to resume the stalled composite dialogue Kasuri said an agreement on Siachen will be reached within days. Earlier on he had, contrary to what the signals from New Delhi suggested given, the good news that a ‘breakthrough on Siachen’ had been achieved.

Pakistan government and GHQ is busy in controlling presidency, now we can’t address Chief Justice or Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, nor it is a duty of human rights to interfere, don’t know to whom may we address to take action, except God to help Pakistan.
