ATTOCK: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) will initiate a data entry training programme in all major cities after eid.
They said the programme would be started from October 19. The authority initially started the programme in nine cities in March, but after the project succeeded NADRA had decided to start it in other cities, they added. They said the project would help the youth improve the data entry speed in Urdu and English. NADRA had set intermediate as maximum qualification for the admission in the training programme, they said, adding that NADRA would charge Rs 600 for the course. They also said the programme would be completed in a month.
Officials said the project would be started in two phases. In the first phase, NADRA would start the programme in Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Hafizabad and Gujrat, they added. They said the last date for submitting the admission form would be September 28.
In the second phase, by the end the year, the programme would be started in Jhelum, Kohat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhang, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, Hyderabad and Okara, officials said. They said the authority would train students in its own provincial centres and after two weeks of the training programme, students would be tested.
Officials said if any student failed to appear in the test he/she would not be allowed to sit in the remaining programme and the authority would return the fee of two weeks to the expelled student.
