PML-N leader demands action against colleagues
ATTOCK: The provincial council member of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Haji Aminullah has demanded of the party leadership to sack secretary finance and the chief of the youth wing for not honouring their promises of receiving Nawaz Sharif along with thousands of activists.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, Haji Amin said that Sher Azam Khan had assured of providing two cranes for removing trailers at Attock Bridge on the day when Nawaz Sharif had to arrive in Islamabad. "However, Sher Azam was missing from the Attock Bridge where thousands of party workers waited for long and then returned in disappointment," he added.
The PML leader also lashed out at the chief of the youth wing, Inamullah, saying he had announced to take 100,000 people to receive Nawaz Sharif at Islamabad airport. "On the day, there were hardly 50 workers outside the airport to receive the former premier," he said.
