ATTOCK: The recently repatriated Afghan refugees have made a come back as many of the repatriatedAs per details, thousands of Afghan refugees repatriated from Pakistan after being given financial assistance four months ago have stormed the Sanjawal Cantt area of Attock where they have been residing since coming to the country for the first time after Russia attacked Afghanistan in 1979. When asked why they have come back from Afghanistan many of the refugees said that they have to turn back because there were very few job opportunities in the war torn country and it was hard for them to earn their bread and butter.

Even the climate situation in Afghanistan is tougher than that in Pakistan and now it was severe winter cold that was threatening the refugees.

So because of these hard ships we have turned back, as living in Pakistan is far easier than that in Afghanistan, said one of the recently repatriated Afghan refugees.
