Local commuters of Tehsils Hassan Abdal and Taxila have expressed concern over the high fare and alleged that transporters are charging rupees five to ten extra form them.

Commuters said that they are facing this situation for last few weeks and also complained to the authorities concerned but so far responsible traffic authorities did not take any action for the problems solution. They shouted against this sudden rise in public transport fare. Rifts and quarrels among transporters and commuters have been increased due to the fare increase. Commuters threatened to hold a protest demonstration against the rise in public transport fare on Hassan Abdal to Taxila and Rawalpindi.
