The Attock city is in grip of severe encroachment causing hardships to the pedestrians. The traders and shopkeepers display their goods on footpaths leaving no space for the shoppers to roam in the city and do shopping for Iftar. Besides, the traffic mess add to the inconvenience of the fast holders. Long queues of vehicles could be seen at evening in the city especially from Urdu Bazaar Chowk Fuwara Attock to Madni Chowk Attock. Besides Rickshaws and carts help in the traffic jam. On one hand, encroachers have given tough time to those who visit the Bazaar while, on the other, the daily traffic mess have made the lives of masses miserable.
The traffic police and the Tehsil Municipal Administration of the Attock City are playing the role of spectators and do not bother to remedy the miseries of the public. Social and political circles have asked the authorities' concerned to purge the city of encroachment and keep the traffic flow in order.

Rulers are enjoying there chance and public also.Everywhere in the country roads are becoming narrow, Govt and public properties are being occupied by sourceful pples and so is the condition at Attock city, because we are part and partial of this society.Its a common phenomena grab it what you get, no question its legal or illegal, its right or wrong its haram or halal. Since you have power do what you want. take the example of GORA QABRASTAN AT ATTOCK CITY ON FATEHJANG LINK ROAD AT THE EDGE OF CHHOI EAST. A sourceful man (KABADIA0 waste collector has occupied land under the water tank and he has dumped a huge quantity of waste material under that and no one is there to talk about. Its heard that the man is EX HEAD CLERK OR DEPUTY COMMISSION ER OFFICE and a sourceful man. the garbage is lying in front of cantonment area and beside acntonment shops and cantonment office and baladiya and Govt. closing their eyes giving this illegal occupancy and illegal business expand day by day. My question is where is Cantonment authoreties where is GHQ Rawalpindi, where is Attock Muncipal Committee, and where is Distt, council Attock. Allthey are silent and Qabza is continuing from years and years. Who will get this place evacuated from this man and how.There is no law, no one to ask. Poors stomach is shrinking and powerful expanding. Go see this man. How has installed garbage factory on cantonment land and doing agriculture there. WHERE IS THE GOVT. AND WHO IS THE GOVT. |
