Rs 100.5m to be spent to make Hazro model village
Tehsil Nazim Hazro, Raza Khan has said that village Behbodi of tehsil Hazro will be made ‘Model Village’ at the cost of Rs. 100.54 million and it will be one of the 18 villages of Punjab to be converted into model villages. Giving details of projects being carried out under the programme, he said that Rs. 20.3 million would be spent on construction of Government Girls High School, Rs. 10.85 million on Basic Health Unit, Rs. 20.54 million has been allocated for Government Boys High School, Rs. 2.6 million to be spent on Vetnary Hospital.
The Nazim said that Rs. 10.78 million have been allocated for pavement of streets, Rs. 5.7 million would be provided for provision of street lights, Rs. 10.4 million for pavement of two ‘Nalas’ Rs. 9.5 million have been allocated for construction of boundary wall of Janaza Gah while graveyard would be built in Behbodi village.
Khan said besides this Chief Minister Punjab Ch. Pervaiz Ellahi has approved Rs. 80 million for development project. He said Punjab Municipal Development Corporation (PMDC) has approved Rs. 50 million for Hazro urban area and Rs. 30 million for the sewerage of Ghurgusti village.
Tehsil Nazim Hazro said his priority was rehabilitation of roads and ensuring sewerage system in different area of Hazro tehsil. He said that record development projects had been completed during the last five years in Hazro tehsil.
