Security beefed up in Attock
ATTOCK: All security measures were being taken to maintain law and order in the district to avoid any untoward incident following the bomb attacks on security forces. The religious scholars of all school of thoughts should play their role in maintaining peace and tranquility in the area, said DPO Attock Inayatullah Farooque while chairing a meeting of the Ulema Board and other religious scholars held at TMA Hall Hassanabdal. The meeting was also attended by SDPOs, Maulvi Sher Zaman, Syed Pir Muhammad Shah and other scholars of the Ulema Board. The DPO said that although efforts were being made by the Police to avert any mishap in the area but it is also the responsibility of the religious scholars to play their role to maintain religious harmony in the area.
