Rain plays havoc in rural areas
FATEH JANG: The five-day rain played havoc in the rural areas of Fateh Jang inflicting heavy losses of property on the people. Several houses caved in and cattle died of rains in these areas. The house of a poor man is reported to have collapsed in the wake of the heavy five days rain; however, luckily he and his family members escaped. In another incident, a farm of chicken collapsed killing huge number of chickens. While six cows of a widow are reportedly killed when her mudroom caved in depriving her of the sole source of income besides, several incidents of houses collapsed occurred in the wake of the heavy rains.
