Message From Tehsil Nazim Attock
People of Attock will have access to clean drinking water for all day long along with the provision of other facilities at their doorstep.
I am thankful to the people of Tehsil Attock for reposing their trust in me. My re-election to the office of Tehsil Nazim reflects the confidence of people that I not only understand their problems but am committed to resolve the same. During my last tenure, the President of Pakistan gave a special grant of Rs. 100 million to Tehsil Attock which was spent on development projects in a cost efficient manner. An extensive development agenda has been prepared for the uplift of Tehsil Attock. Sewage and street lights stand as primary problems before us and we are doing our best to address both the issues. I am trying to increase the number of staff members and new machinery is being bought for better provision of municipal services. “Sabzi Mandi” and “Truck Adda” need to be built outside the city premises as both create lot of problems for citizens. For this purpose land is being acquired from the District Government. A modern bus station, we are trying to acquire land from Pakistan Railways on lease, is being planned for Tehsil Attock.
We have sought the assistance of Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC) for shifting of cattle mandi and slaughter house to suitable places outside the city area. The Chief Minister of Punjab, on my special request, has allocated Rs. 80 million for development projects in Tehsil Attock. I want to assure the citizens of Attock that we will do our utmost to complete all development projects as early as possible and provide quality services.
