FATEHJANG: Tehsil Council Fatehjang would present its budget on Saturday morning at a special budget session. Tehsil Nazim Sardar Zaheer Afzal Khan would present the budget for the year 2007-2008.
A spokesman of TMA Fatehjang said on Friday that a major chunk of budget would be earmarked for development projects in the tehsil, adding that top priority to be given to the uplifting of less developed parts of the tehsil.
He said the budget would be development-oriented and more than 60 percent of the amount of the budget would be allocated for development projects and no new tax would be imposed. Tehsil naib nazim and other members of the council would also attend the budget session.
