Dedication: I would like to dedicate this website to my beloved father Hassan Jaffri (who was a true journalist) and then of course this website is fully dedicate to the people of Attock.

Synopsis: Just like every human, I love my birth place ‘Attock’. This place carries my child hood memories; a tang of my Grand parents adores and loves of undefined friends. Physical part of me traveled all around this world but I found my mind and soul static in Attock. Attockonians are considered as the most civilized, peaceful, loving nation on earth and I am proud to be a part this empire. As this place is unique, I desired to do some thing unusual. I looked around found nothing much but a modern sculpture of all machines called computer, was introduced in this great region but there was no dedicated website. In Oct 9, 2002, I proudly launched Attock Group on yahoo, first online portal in the history of Attock. It was a great success. We got appreciation from around the world.

History:  In the year 2005 I felt like to have an online newspaper for Attock, which can display fresh news from Attock and about Attock with a click of a mouse. We tried to register it through some Pakistani hosting company but they register it with their name and start asking extra money. They register it for one year and then we waited until domain got expire, then my one friend Shani register domain for us and gifted for Attock people. Finally, in March 23, 2007 (Paksitan Day) we launched attocknews.com, with the blessing of Allah all Mighty attocknews.com get visited by thousand of users every day. Attocknews.com is not just a website; it is platform for all Attockonians and other individuals in the whole world.

Reason:  Truly I don’t get any fortune of doing all this but I am greedy of getting inner satisfaction and may be some where, some one will put two hands together and pray for me. We all need it, please please pray for us.

Acknowledgment: Sure I wouldn’t be able to do any thing without my team of friends. They spend their time and fortune to heighten Attock`s great websites. There is no word which can appreciate their efforts. I can still count on the long nights which they never sleep but design your favorite web sites, collect data’s and sturdy uploading processes.
