Four killed in separate accidents
ATTOCK KHURD: Atleast four persons were killed and one seriously injured in separate incidents on the auspicious occasion of Eid in Attock. In the first incident, a fast moving wagon crushed three persons who were standing on the road side. The persons who died included Taj Khan, Abdul Khaliq s/o Fazal Din and one another whose name could not be identified till the filing of the report. On the other hand, Javed Iqbal s/o Ahmed Gull was sitting with his brothers when unknown armed men opened haphazard firing on them in their shop resulting in the instant death of his brother Zafar who succumbed to his injuries. The reason behind the firing is said to be an old enmity and revenge. Meanwhile in the third terrible incident on Eid Day, unknown person injured a villager Aman alias Ashiq with a sharp axe while police has recovered a bottle of liquor from a tailor shop, Tanvir Tailors on New Year night. A case has been lodged in this regard.
