| POF Polytechnic school upgraded |
HASANABDAL: Existing POF Polytechnic School, which is being run
under the auspices of Welfare Trust has been upgraded to the status of
college. Shahid Ahmad, Director Industrial and Commercial Relations POF
Wah Cantt were the chief guest on the occasion.

Green Tractor scheme launched: Under the directives of Punjab chief minister, applications for Green Tractor Scheme were invited from the farmers of the Hasanabdal district.
In response some 134 applications, only 58 were found complete in all respects while 78 were rejected on basis of different discrepancies.
DDO Syed Sabtain Hussain Kazmi said this in a meeting with the members of Hasanabdal Press Club. He further disclosed that the list of the unsuccessful farmers has been displayed at his office and these 78 applicants have been advised to file their appeals before the district committee by October 10, which shall dispose off these appeals by October 15 and the computerised balloting will be held on October 23 at the district headquarter, Attock.
