Five small dams built in Attock ATTOCK

Attock: In a bid to meet water shortage and solve irrigation problems, the district government has launched several projects of small dams throughout the district and had completed five small dams in various places and survey for another six dams has been launched. The dams that have been completed include Basal dam, Talkafa dam, Jaba dam, Sahwal dam and Jalwal dam. The dams would supply water to 5450-acre land for irrigation that would help boost agriculture and production of crops. The dams would also help raise water table that could further help in fisheries development.
