Guys,
First of all, please accept my thanks for putting up a lovely website on Attock News. Like Ashok, I am also tracing roots of my family. My great grand father was a Jamedar in british indian Army and our ancestoral village is Dandi near Pindi Gheb. As i remember from my conversations with my father, we had a big piece of land which was irrigated using water of seven wells. i think the whole area was known as "satt Khui" the land with seven wells. My great grand father was called BAU KARTAR SINGH and my grand father's name was BRIJ LAL BAKHSHI.
I would really appreciate if anyone from adjoining areas can get me any news on our house, any friends of my grand father / UNCLE( LALIT KUMAR BAKHSHI) or my father ( Rajendra Kumar Bakhshi)
