ANSWER TO DOCTOR SAHIB'S SURPRISE
Dear Doctor Sahib, first of all salam-o-alaikum. I am really feeling at home while visiting this site and writing all this. After Salam, actually case was not of Chauhdry Pervez Elahi or Malik Sohail Khan. The case was actually of the influential figures of the region. (NA-58 Attock-II) and (PP-19 Attock V) both Constituencies are mainly covering the JAND Tehsil of Attock Distt. The ruling factions of this area belong to MAKHHAD SHARIF or KHHUNDA, i.e. Sahibzada Syed Abbas Mohi-ud-Din of Makhhad Sharif and Malik Allah Yar Khan (May His Soul Rest in Peace, Ameen)of Khhunda. Both factions in the past were swaping NA or PP Constituencies between each other as a settlement. Now this time, Sahibzada Syed Abbas Mohi-ud-Din of Makhhad Sharif offered his place to Chauhdry Pervez Illahi on NA-58 and on PP-19 son of Malik Allah Yar Khan (Marhum), Malik Aitbar Khan was the winner. Though Malik Sohail Khan also secured 59726 votes but was out played by Chauhdry Pervez Elahi who secured 70743 votes. Now coming to the main point of Nationalism. Though Chauhdry Pervez Elahi is not from Attock but he is a Pakistani. Also election commission has no criteria that can limit the candidate to his/hers own domicile area. But actually worst of all is our hero worshiping. It will take our nation decades to draft out a system that will work. For the time being after elections even nothing is clear. All those problems that were existing are still exist for a long. Reminding you that the general elections were no solutions to any basic problems that the motherland have. Look at the lineage, I hope you will agree with me, from 1999 to 2002 focus was set to hold general elections rather than solving any basic problem of the nation. OK! now 2002 general elections were over. the focus was set to Uniform of Mr. Musharraf. Four years of ups and downs brought Mr. Musharraf to his civil dress. Now in 2007 Mr. Musharraf deposed Mr. Iftikhar M. Chauhdry. The national intrest went to restoration of Mr. Iftikhar M. Chauhdry. Then he was restored back to his job then again on 3rd of November state of emergency was declared. then protests were arranged to remove emergency and other nations started interfering. Then Mis Benazir Bhutto was assasinated (May Her Soul Rest in Peace, Ameen). Now may be PML-N would have been the leader in the election but Mohtrama's assasination shifted the caret to PPPP and in result they scure more seats. Still not the end, today again Judges' issue is hanging on our head. On one side and sub-standard wheat flour, shortage of electricity and education onthe other side. Actually, our problem will be solved on the day, that we will start thinking from our heads not hearts. fee Amaan Allah

I m surprised that why my area people supported CH PERVAIZ instead of MALIK SOHAIL even he belongs to ATTOCK 58 , i don,t know that y my area people r so irresponsible even they know that CH PERVAIZ is not even belong to their district so how he will solve our problems , i m sure that he did not know the correct name of our area but our innocent people have selected him . overall in punjab all area neglect the last government but our area still love these bloody terrorist , i pray to my GOD that plz help us to diffrentiate b/t right and wrong .

AB TOW KEHTAY HAIN KAY MERGAINGAY MER KAY BE CHAIN NA PAYA TOW KIDER JAINGAY Today every Pakistani is hopeful that if Allah Almighty willing, after election the situation in our country will come to normal and once again every one will breath with safety and security. Every one will have peace of mind and once again life will come to the track, which I would say that presently the life is totally paralyzed and systems are derailed from their tracks. The solution to above situation in Pakistan is possible, provided our political leadership prove their sensibility and sincerity with country. If elections are not conducted fair and transparent or parties do not agree on the polls result, Or after election a strong democratic government is not formed up then what will happen . ???? We can not just leave our country at the mercy of intruders who are waiting and looking forward to grab a chance for destabilizing our country. Therefore, let us step out for polls with rising sun of 18th February and mark a day for the Islamic democratic Pakistan. Dear and respectable elders, younger, brothers and sisters. We have only option of fair and transparent election. Let us take advantage of this moment and elect fair and sincere leadership for our country. We can not afford Marshal Law every now and then. We must say BIG NO to military leadership in the future. Let us hope for the best and pray to Almighty Allah to shower his blessings on our country and to give strength, courage and sense of patriotism to our future leadership as to take out the country from existing crisis. Dear Doctor Glad to hear from you. I am servijng here in Saudi Arabia. I really appreciate your feelings for ours poor District Attock. I am from Railway station Injra of Tehsil Jand. Attock is one of oldest city but still it is not developed. Lake of industries pushes poor people to leave their homes in search of jobs. I assuare you sir, that right from Attock to Peshawar -- Attock --to --Multan and Attock --to Lahore there are no chances for Attockonian to find jobs. We have Allah's blessing in Dhakni Oil fields but there also no one care to provide job what to talk of providing Gas facility for the people of Tehsil Jand. This is all because of our kind political leadership. I look forward to hear comments from you and other memebers of this forum. Thanks and regard to every body on this page.

Attockonian Global Village
I truely admire and appreciate for launching a great site for Attockonians living all over the globe. Now we can share our stories and golden memories with our friends. I have been in Attock college around 1979-83 and would love to hear from an attockonian from that golden era of Attock College. Chugh te pugh te lamdheeng de puttar tha. te aaloo tha. Only an attockonian can understand this language of mine. Attock is a great district of historical, cultural and literary value. Attock college used to be only no 2 to Govt College Lahore and students from as far as Gujrat and Talagang come to study here. I just published one article about my great Urdu teacher Dr. Saadullah Khan Kaleem, unfortunately verses (sheir) got mixed up, it's hard to write urdu poetry in English. I will try to write it in Urdu and publish it in a photo format. I would love to write more about my beloved college Attock. Other than Kaleem Sb, I would like to mention the great names of our hostel warden and later on Principal Prof, M. Afzal Sb, Prof. Anwar Jalal Sb, Prof. Qazi Wajahat Ashraf, Prof. Azizur Rahman.

Salam, I am the eldest son of the late Abdullah Hakim Khan of Adalzai brother of the late Yaqub Khan and the late Sanghi Khan. I live in North Wales which is part of the UK. I have six other brothers and sisters. My brothers are Mohaamed hassan khan and Aly Akbar Khan. My sisters are Zetoon Zenham Khan, Fatima Bebe Khan, Khadeja Khan and Ameina Khan. We were all born in the UK. My father married my mother, a welsh woman called Lorna and my uncle Yaqub married my mothers sister, her name is Rose. There are at least 15 children from this and about 30 grandchildren now. I still have family in Adalzai. If anybody has their address please put the information on this site and I will access it. Please give all my relations in Adazai my salam and tell them I always think about them. I have never been to Pakistan or met any of my relations there. however, in 1970 Aly, Hassan, Khadeja and Ameina went to live for a while in Adazai. It is important to me to have a contact address because I want to send photgrahs to my relations in Adalzai. I have a cousin call Isa Khan and others but I have forgotten their names. If anybody can help me o acheive this I would be extremely grateful if this message could be passed onto them. I am a Health and Safety manager in the constuction industry and am setting up a training academy for oversee workers who want to come to the UK to work . I am also consideringsetting up a branch in Attock if anybody is interested. The criteria is that any person wishing to be included must be able to read and write in English. This could be a very profitable opportunity for people who are up to the job. I will be able to provide support to set up a training branch in and around Attock.
