HINDKO" language is spoken by people in the North of Pakistan mainly, i.e Attock, Texila, Hazara , Peshawar, Nowshehra, Dera Ismail Khan, Swabi, Banu, and many other places
We can not say Hindko is same as PUNJABI
Chach, area between Attock and Hazara, people speak Hindko
These peopke have ancesteral links to Afghanistan ,NWFP
Hindko) is no where near like the punjabi spoken in Central Punjab and Indian Punjab.
Hindko has punjabi words in it, it also has Urdu, Persian, and Pukhtho!!!! So its not Punjabi,
we always hear Punjabis saying that Hindko sounds quite sweet even though they can hardly understand it!
