Just a quick message to let you know that Ashgar Khan called me last and we had a long chat about things. He is calling me again tonight because I did tell him that I would call when next visit my sisters. Anyawy, what I wil ldo is get a family photo album sorted for Isa Khan. Now I have some direct contact with my relations it will all be easier. Thanx for every thing, always stay in touch I will check this site every other day, but better still we will talk soon! Please convey my love and respect to your parents again, hope to meet you all soon inshalla!

Zana No worries at all Hussein.

My dad has also advised me against writing to much as this is a public domain and there are 3rd parties that would be very interested in this matter for perhaps the wrong reasons.

Dad says that there are 3 brothers, ISA Khan is only one of the three.

You have my email address, and i'm happy to give you my home phone number once you write to me through email, i don't know if you know any Hindko or Urdu, but either way my dad would be happy to speak to you and a meeting in London at our home can certainly be arranged.

I can understand your position and it must be hard for you in who to trust and who to believe. Just keep the faith I guess.

All the best and I hope you get the answers you are looking for.

Hussein Khan Hi again Zana,

I hate all this land stuff as well. The way most of us look at it is simply that we do not want or need it and would prefer if our rights to it (if indeed we have any) are transferred directly to Isa Khan. The problem is now as I see it is now this is in the public domain we have to be careful what we can discuss. If anybody calls me about this on the number I provided I will simply refuse to talk to them. However, it would very helpful if you or your parents would be kind enough to relay to Isa Khan that if the judge ever wants any proof of the existence of the other siblings, I will make the necessary arrangements. We will never provide John with any of our signatures and he knows that although I did send him a letter about the approach from Mirwas Khan but I never receied a reply. I will try and contact you via your email address. Other than that I will bid you farewell for the moment. Keep in contact but we'd better watch what we say from now. Hope to speak to you and your family soon and maybe we could arrange to meet up in London in the New Year. What do you think?

I am very grateful for your prompt and helpful attention. Take Care and give my love and respect to your parents. Hussein.
Zana Hello Hussein,

How are you? I hope all is well.

I've spoken to my mum and dad about this and they've tried to explain the ins and outs of this to me, it seems as though a very delicate matter. I hate all this land stuff :o)

As far as i know John tried to sell the land but it didn't get sold because Isa Khan has told the judge that John is not the only son, so basically signatures are required from the other siblings before John (who I'm told is also known as Jaan Khan) can proceed with the selling of the land.

I don't want to give my number online as this is a public domain but you are welcome to call me on the landline and speak to my father, Aslam Khan or speak to myself. Please email me on This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or send me your personal email address.

We live in London and not in the Midlands and you are always welcome to our home. Your cousin who is Isa Khan's daughter is Maqsoom and she is Zamurad Khan's daughter in law and lives in Birmingham. I will ask my cousin if it is ok to give out Maqsoom's details.

I hope this all helps you?

Stay in touch!

Zana

p.s. No idea where Yakub Khan lived, will ask my dad when he's home and get back to you on that one. But most of our time was spent in the Sparkbrook/Small Heath area as children.
