I cant understand what is the role of pakistan army in pakistan. They Have not won a single war.they re doing nothing but getting all.A soldier in pakistan has right to send away PRIMINISTER, PRESIDENT,CHEIF JUSTICE, PAKISTAN HEROS LIKE DR. ABDUL QADIR KHAN, CAN KILL ANNOCENT CIVILLIANS..... The are getting more than 80% of pakistani budget and running pakistan with only fraction of it.the amazing thing is that they also try to loot the rest of budget.Infact whole of wealth is under army and they are enjoying. The rest of pakistani people are not able to bye daily commodity.Whats the hell going on... Sham on pakistan army

Down with you PPP supporters 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Down with you PPP supporters. The army is the only good institution. Those damn politicans like bhutto and sharif and corrupt dogs and put our country on the brink of banruptcy. As for Lal Masjid we do not need extremists anywhere in Pakistan and if they are such good people/students why are they armed to the teeth? Why if they are so religious are they willing to kill Pakistani soldiers? Long Live Musharraf and keep up the good work!!!

Army is Pakistan's savior 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Haven't you noticed Pakistan's improvement lately? The army is reason for it and it is the best institution in Pakistan. The army is the least corrupt and most disciplined institution in Pakistan. If it were not for the army I could even not imagine what would have transpired in Pakistan. Yeah many problems exist in Pakistan like inflation, poverty etc. but it is still much better off than under sharif/bhutto. Musharraf and the Army have put Pakistan on a pathway for economic development and tried to steer clear of extremism. The extremism must be rooted out of Pakistan in order for it improve and to allow for global invesment. The army has privatised big industry, banking and other sectors to grow the economy. The army has increased the tax base to allow for infrastructure development. The army has de-regulated banking to allow the expansion of banks into Pakistan so as to allow anyone to buy a home or a car. The telecoms have been deregulated to allow every tonga driver the capability of cell phone service. The foreign reserves are at an all time high and the banking lending rate for Pakistan is at a very high grade---meaning better credit. Look at the stock market as well. The construction industry is surging and many mega projects both private and govt are coming down the pipeline--this is no coincidence. Do you think this is cyclical? Impossible. This is because of the army not the corrupt politicians of the 90's who plundered and robbed Pakistan. Yeah of course many of these things are thought for upper classes, but along with that you see more support businesses forming and jobs being created and this is how an economy expands. By the way has anyone wondereed who paid for the "allparties conference" in london? Fancy rooms and banquet halls---who paid for this? Now I pray that the army privatises PIA and we will all be better off.
